The License to Learn Program is designed for new drivers or drivers who want a refresher course. This course includes both classroom and behind the wheel instruction.

Students receive 9-12 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind the wheel instruction. Topics covered include:

  • Basic Control
  • Basic Maneuvers
  • Defensive Driving
  • Rules of the Road
  • Visual Search
  • Communicating
  • Managing Space
  • How to Take Your Road Test
  • Hazard Recognition
  • Driving Emergencies
  • Driver Readiness
  • Vehicle Readiness
  • The new driver, bringing them home safely.

Participants may be eligible for a discount from their insurance company.
